The Appreciative Way's Certificate of Appreciative Coaching is a BCC founding CCE-approved coach training program.

Board Certification Requirements

Board Certification requirements depend on the prior education you bring to your coaching work.

For People with Bachelors Degree

You will need to complete 120 hours of coach training and complete the BCC National exam

For People with Masters Degree in Education or Social Sciences

You will need to complete 60 hours of coach training and complete the BCC National exam

For People with Ph.D. or Masters Degree in Counseling

You will need to complete 30 hours of coach training and complete the BCC National exam

For People with National Certified Counselors, (NCC) or State Licensed counselor

You will need to complete 30 hours of coach training and complete the BCC National exam

Current Appreciative Way Coach Training

Foundations of Appreciative Coaching: 30 hours

Coaching Appreciative Leaders: 30 hours

Advanced Coaching: 30 hours

Coaching Tele-Seminar: 50 hours

Who Should Attend Appreciative Coach Training

While primarily oriented toward clergy and those who work with clergy and church leaders, our Certificate in Appreciative Coaching is also open to those who have substantial experience as a Coach or mentor and who can reflect theologically and psychologically on their coaching and are interested in using their spiritual resources and understanding in their coaching.
