Coaching Teleconferences

We provide weekly teleconferences for "Just-in-Time" consultation and coaching.

These tele-conferences are open to people who have participated in a training program and are wanting to continue their appreciative inquiry based expertise. They are a required part of our Certificate in Interim Ministry and Certificate in Appreciative Coaching programs.

Most seminars will be presented on the first Thursday of the month from 9-10:15 am PST.

Each seminar will be recorded and made available online after the presentation.

April 8:   One Size Doesn't Fit All: Designing a Transitional Ministry to Meet the Need

Too often we allow external circumstances to structure our ministries, or we allow old ways of doing things to limit our creativity in responding incarnationally to the unique needs of a congregation.

Rather than relying on a one size fits all approach to transitional ministry this tele-seminar will explore ways to create a ministry to meet the specific needs of a congregation.

Some of the topics to be covered in the Tele-Seminar will be:

  • Assessing the current congregational state.
  • Establishing a desired successful outcome.
  • Determining the required ministry resources to achieve the goal.
  • Determining the time requirement to achieve the goal.

June 3:   Ensuring Change is a Blessing

Too often our planned changes create resistance and become unsustainable because people can not perceive how the change will be a blessing. In this Tele-Seminar we will explore how the church needs to get out of the change business and back into the blessing business.

  • Designing change to be a blessing.
  • Understanding the nature of resistance.
