Appreciative Way Network's Coaches Network
Professional and Ethical Principles

The foundations of our ethical principles can be found in the great faith traditions and their commitment to the transformation of the world through being a beneficial presence. In particular our principles have been heavily informed by the following:

  • The Christian understanding of loving God, neighbor, and self.
  • The Buddhist understanding of compassion as the agent of transformation.
  • The Hebrew understanding of Tikun Olan, or Heal the World

In addition as a psychologist and member of the American Psychological Association Dr. Voyle adheres to the Ethical Standards of Psychologists. The Appreciative Way Network's Coaching Principles are designed to provide general ethical guideline for Coaches coming from a variety of the helping professions.
